Introducing Lullabye. A simple to use application for putting your monitor to sleep. No fancy frills, just straight to the point.

Set up a hotkey, press it, and watch as your screen fades to black before your monitor shuts off. To get your screen to turn back on, simply move the mouse, click a button on the mouse, or press the hotkey and watch as the screen fades back in. It's just that simple.

.Net 2 Framework needs to be installed in order for Lullabye to work. Download from Microsoft.com if you do not already have it.

Nice app. You should make a screensaver that does the same thing as the default "blank" but does the fade out/in thing.

I just might have to.

it's a great app, i've been using it for a while but sometimes it makes me accidentally shut off my screen without wanting to. It would be helpful if we could use a combination of more keys, for example, "Ctrl + Alt + key" or "Crtl + Shift + key", just an idea.

By the way, what's the point of having shortcut keys to turn the monitor back on if moving the mouse can do the same thing? I would prefer that the screen turned back on at any keystroke actually.
