TrayBin - A recycle bin replacement for Windows. Inspired by a wonderful program by e-sushi called MiniBin.

This program offers all of the benefits of MiniBin and more! Including DRAG AND DROP to the system tray. TrayBin is also fully compatible with all MiniBin themes.

NOTE: .net Framework v4.0 is required for this application to run. If you do not have it installed please download and install it before trying to run this application.

Please send any bug reports to four13designs@optusnet.com.au with "TrayBin Support" in the message title. It'll be easier to track these issues.

Nothing lately. I started to add language support a while back but didn't have time to finish it. I might try to find a spare hour or two to finish it at some point. I'll update the page when there's something new to report.

Trying this on windows 8 RTM, works fine, except for the drag and drop. I can't seem to drag anything to traybin :(. Also, everytime I save settings, it gives me an error.

I can't really support Windows 8 at the moment because I don't have it installed. I suspect, though, that some of the APIs that are currently use for drag-and-drop might have changed between Windows 7 and 8 RTM.

In regards to the error, I would need to know what the error message says before I can offer any help for that.

You need to update the transition animation when users delete files. Hope in next release. Awesome App

I apologize but I'm not sure what you mean. There isn't any transition animation. When the user deletes a file, it checks the percentage used of the recycle bin. The current usage is polled every second so it should always display accurate information.

Let me give you a brief description of what is happening and how TrayBin determines what image to display. At 0% it displays the empty image. From 1% to 25% it displays the 25.png image. And so forth. There is a chance when dealing with files with extremely small file sizes (less than 1 MB) and recycle bin sizes in the gigabytes that the space used will still be 0% even though there are files in the recycle bin.

I hope this clears up any confusion you might have had.

I know, but that wasn't what I want to say. Animation likes you says, is working good. But I want to talk about the tray icon. Sometimes there is a big white square appears for a while then disappears. That is the thing I wanted to say, it's not like these other apps that you'd created. Maybe it's one of bugs. I hope you could understand my mean. Thanks.

Ah, now that is a bug. Sorry, saying 'animation' threw me off because, like I said before, there aren't any animations.

Telling me "Sometimes there is a big white square appears for a while then disappears." is a bit more descriptive and lets me know exactly what issues you are experiencing. I will look into the possible causes of this issue and get back to you if I find a fix.
